I was the milkboy in the village from 1956 to 1958. I used to deliver Jim's milk, he was quite a character.

I recall that Jimmy was the local postie. No red vans. A bike in those days. I lived in Montgarrie until about 1963.

Jimmy,who was a retired postie, had a great collection of 78rpm gramophone records,mostly Parlophone and almost exclusively Scottish.

House still exists and was converted/modernisedearly 1970's at one time occupied by Alford Academy art teacher Sandy Brasso,maybe still is.

Na, Gordon, nae Sandy Braso, he built the hoose next till it. It wis the Maths teacher did up the place - I ken because I repaired his guitar. Bit fit wis his name?
