My Grandfather Alexander Gilbert farmed at Schoolhill Craigievar for many years till his death in 1946. he was aged 76.
He married Frances Elizabeth Buchan and they had four children . Frances, Jean, my father (young schoolie)birth name William and another daughter named Janet. My father died aged fifty-one in 1953.
Perhaps we are related. The above picture brings back to me many happy memories of my school holidays spent at Schoolhill.
