Built 1556, unoccupied from 1753. Restored 1966. Excellent view of Bennachie in the background.

I have a copy of this photo in my house, my grandparents - Charles & Kate Robertson were the caretakers at Balfluig Castle for many years and I have my most happiest childhood memories of staying with them in the cottage. And my Christening was held in the main hall of the castle!
