My mother and father Joe & Helen Reid purchased Millbank from Massie, May 1953. See earlier picture of Millbank Croft and my comments.

I remember both Cyril and Stella Shepherd. Stella was blonde and pretty. I was always fascinated by the fact the her father used to knit their jerseys. A clever man!

Elizabeth,That is a lovely memory and something i never knew about. Stella is in Australia now and unfortunately my dad (cyril)passed away 16 years ago. Thank you so much for your lovely comment.

they didnt know the Mcwilliams from Montgarrie.
My Dads middle name was Shepherd which he was named after the Shepherd family
