Is the John Watt in this photograph the son of John Watt & Barbara Goldie or was he the son of William Watt & Mary Leslie? I would love to hear from anyone who may know the answer to this riddle as he & I were second cousins.

I think Alex Morrison may have been a cousin of mine. I had a Great Grand Aunt Mary Watt 1805-1896 who married Charles Morrison born approx 5 July 1781. Mary was the daughter of David Watt & Margaret Murray, both buried in Lumphanan Cemetery. Mary & Charles Morrison had three children. David, Alexander & Charles. I know I still have cousins in the Alford area related to the Watt Clan of the Torries O' Tough. Is Alexander the photographer the Alexander one of the three siblings or is he a son of one of them? I am building the Watt Family Tree and would dearly love to find out.

My grandfather was David Watt and his parents were John Watt died October 1923 and Barbra Goldie died 1937
