A group of Foresters

From the album in Alford Heritage Centre with possible Dunecht connections. Many trees were cut down in the Great War to provide timber needed at the Front, so these men would have contributed to the war effort in their logging activities. Chappie on the extreme right can also be seen in a similar group photograph taken at the saw mill, image number 1126.
