Photographs by Alex Morrison of Lumphanan

This collection of photographs was kindly donated to the Alford Heritage Centre and Museum by Cathleen Morrison, whose father, Alec, was a professional photographer based in Lumphanan, and whose professional work took him to assignments throughout Donside and Deeside. Mr Morrison's camera equipment can be seen on display in the Museum. He was obviously a very accomplished photographer with an eye for good composition as you will see from the photographs in this group. We are indebted to Jean Milne for her help in identifying some of the people in the photographs, but any assistance in identification of subjects and/or locations would be gratefully received. Please note that the dates were marked as 1930s......1935 indicates a guessed mid point in the 1930s.
