Letter in a bottle found in Alford

Ray says: "...a note left in a bottle in the backing to the fireplace of a lean-to I demolished 20 years ago. It briefly describes who built the lean-to and mentions what was happening in the village at the time of writing on 14th July 1937. The bottle broke when I was enthusiastically removing the rubble."
