Thanks for showing this picture - the garage belonged to my great-grandfather, whose proud boast was that he never wore a collar and tie in his life, not even to a masonic meeting. The garage started out as a cycle repair shop, and I believe is now a Renault garage. His elder son, my grandfather, had to move south after being demobbed in 1919 as there was not much work in the Highlands, and my father was born in Dover the following year.
