My grandfather, Samuel Lawson was a first cousin of Postie Lawson. He trained as a blacksmith like his father, Andrew, who lived at a house called Foggieley. My grandfather could make anything out of anything and also made miniature engines, he had 14 children so Bill lawson has lots of relatives in the North east of Scotland. My mother was his daughter, Margaret Ann Lawson.

My grandfather, Samuel Lawson was a cousin of "postie" Lawson. My mother Shiela Mary Lawson is approaching 80yrs and the youngest of his fourteen children. I am interested in finding out more about our "clan" past and present.
