View of the Motte at StrathdonView looking south with the Motte, The Doune of Invernochty, left of centre and Morven and the Grampians on the horizon. The Doune is considered by many to be one of the finest examples in Scotland and was built in the 12th/13th Century on a pre-existing glacial mound or kame.
