Pitoothies Belt

Detail of Medieval rig and furrow plough marks preserved in the plantation belt...a ridge can be seen bottom left, followed by a furrow running bottom right diagonally to left (Fescue grass growing in furrow), followed by another ridge and a further furrow (again with more Fescue grass growing in it). This pattern continues throughout the belt.
