Can anyone tell me if ths James Birse was related to the Birse family of Woodfield Farm Coull.

My mother thought he was a giant (she was born in 1929). He had a waxed moustache and was a very nice man.

When staying with my Grannie Mrs George at the Cottage on the edge ofthe market stance, I used to visit Birses several times a week. Had great respect for Jimmie Birse - a real gentleman - always immaculately dressed in the shop.
