Comments:
Originally saw this photo in Alan Cooper's book 'Old Huntly'. Of particular interest to me as I am researching the 19th and early 20th Century farm records of the Harvey family in nearby Bogs o' Noth farm. The 1861 census has Margaret Harvey (mother, 46), with her children Ann (14), James (8) and Robert (6) in residence.

Great to see a picture of the houses. My great, great, great grandfather Charles Dawson was born there in 1778 and died there in 1866. There are no houses there now.

My great grandfather Gordon Smart lived in Raws of Noth (1901 census) with wife Margaret Harvey and daughters Anne and Margaret and died there in November 1901. Can anyone provide a grid reference as Raws of Noth does not appear on OS map 37 of landranger series and I would love to visit the site.

I too saw this picture in the book "Old Huntly." My interest is that William Balgowan lived there for some years until his death in 1808.
