The Wolf Stone

Incised images of a wolf (rare), mirror and comb, and an abstract decorated rectangle. A real mixture of images such as this mean that the stone could date from anytime between the 6th century and the 8th century. Found at Newbigging, Leslie in 1842 whilst breaking in new ground and originally incorporated into a stone dyke. Now on display at Leith Hall.
